Fiber opening and mixing

Fiber opening and mixing

Application

The fiber opening and mixing system serves as the core front-end pretreatment equipment for nonwoven production lines. It consists of an electronic weighing bale opener, pre-opener, fine opener, cabin blender and other units. It mainly performs fiber opening and uniform blending, converting blocky and bundled fibers into loose individual fibers. It supplies qualified raw materials for subsequent web forming and bonding processes. Compatible with a wide range of nonwoven production scenarios, it is a vital pretreatment system to guarantee product quality.

Carding Machine

Carding Machine

Application

The carding process acts as the “heart” of the whole production line. It directly determines the uniformity of the final web, fiber orientation, basis weight range, and many physical properties of the finished product.

Airlaid

Airlaid

Application

Airlaid forming is an important web forming process for nonwovens. High speed airflow suspends, disperses and conveys opened short fibers evenly; fibers settle naturally and accumulate on the forming screen to form a bulky, uniform and randomly oriented fiber web. Without mechanical carding and laying, fibers are arranged randomly with balanced strength in all directions. The resulting web features high bulkiness and a wide adjustable basis weight range. It is compatible with various raw materials including long/short fibers, regenerated fibers and wood-pulp blended fibers. Commonly combined with 3D filling, thermal bonding, and subsequent spunlace/needle punching processes, airlaid webs are widely used in automotive acoustic filling, thermal batting, air filtration, flushable substrates and other products.

Web forming technology

Web forming technology

Application

The high speed crosslapping machine is the core unit that laps fiber webs at high speed and uniformly to achieve the required thickness and width. It determines the uniformity and strength of finished products. It is mainly used for web lapping of various nonwovens such as needle punching, spunlace and thermal bonding materials etc.

Spunlace

Spunlace

Application

High pressure micro fine water jets are sprayed onto one or multiple fiber webs to interlace fibers with each other. The fiber web is thereby consolidated to gain certain strength, producing spunlace nonwovens.

Needle punching

Needle punching

Application

Up and down reciprocating needling with barbed needles interpenetrates and interlaces fibers inside the fiber web, forming compact, stiff, wear-resistant needle punched nonwovens. It is widely used in the production of industrial and functional materials such as filter media, automotive interiors, leather substrates and paper making felts.

High efficiency drying

High efficiency drying

Application

This high-efficiency dryer is equipped with stainless steel honeycomb or perforated mesh cylinders. It supports multiple heating modes including direct natural gas combustion, steam and heat-conducting oil. The machine realizes rapid dewatering, setting and hand feel finishing for nonwovens fabrics. Featuring uniform hot air penetration, it ensures flat and high quality fabric surfaces while increasing production capacity and reducing energy consumption.

Thermal bonding

Thermal bonding

Application

The thermal bonding process relies on hot air setting equipment to generate high temperature hot air. It melts hot-melt, ES and PP fibers inside the fabric, bonding fiber intersection points to form the web. This process can produce hygiene materials, furniture materials, acoustic felts, automotive interior materials, thermal insulation materials and other products. Nonwovens after thermal bonding feature firm structure and stable finished shape.

Winding and slitting

Winding and slitting

Application

Winding and slitting is a crucial post-process of the nonwoven production line. It performs precise fixed-width slitting, edge trimming and leveling, tension control, and constant speed winding on finished nonwoven fabrics. The equipment can slit fabrics to customized widths and remove rough edges, ensuring flat, non-stretched and evenly tensioned fabric surfaces. It supports automatic fixed-length and fixed-diameter winding, facilitating subsequent warehousing, transportation and deep processing. It is compatible with various nonwoven production lines, including spunlace, needle punching, ATB and wetlaid lines.
